Most small repairs around the house can be done without calling a professional. This is often more convenient since you don’t have to take time off work to be home when the repair is carried out.

Power Tools
I have had the previous versions of those two ever since I bought my house(almost 10 years ago).
The power drill just died a couple of weeks ago(replaced it with another dewalt). It has drilled thousands of holes during my various projects. In my opinion, it lasted very well! For normal household use, it will last for decades. Even the batteries are fine after 10 years of use.
